Simple, sturdy and space-efficient – the S-Table showcases designer Marcel Gascoin’s mastery of form and function.
Seating six dinner guests, the S-Table’s lean, simple lines, elegant tapered legs, strength of frame and precise craftsmanship give it a timeless quality and uncompromised functionality.
Conceived in 1951 by Gascoin for the living quarters of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in France, the ingenious flexibility and understated elegance that made it popular then is just as relevant now.
Today’s S-Table by GUBI is available in solid and veneered oak or walnut, with an extendable version also an option. It is part of a unified Gascoin collection that includes the B-Table, C-Chair and Trèfle Stool. Crafted from wood, they offer consistent and adaptive solutions for the dining room or office.
